One of the things I enjoy the most is Sewing for my Home. Sure, you can buy Potholders and Hot Pads at the store for a fair price but it is so much more enjoyable and affordable to just sew them yourself and you can customize them. You can make them any theme you want or any color. You can also be as creative as you like. This is more enticing to me than a trip to the store to buy them.
These Potholders are made from some scrap fabric I have collected so that is another thing I love about sewing these myself. They are a great scrap buster!
They are easy to make and are a quick gift alternative in a pinch. They would make a great gift for a Wedding Shower along with your other gifts.
I think about making Potholders this time of year because I like to decorate my home for the Fall/Autumn season. I can hang them up and display them or lay them on the Counter.
